A Line Laser 3D Camera (often called a Laser Profiler) is a high-precision imaging system that combines a sheet of laser light with a high-speed camera to perform 3D triangulation. By projecting a laser line onto a surface and capturing its deformation, it generates sub-millimeter accurate profile data and height maps in real-time.
Its primary advantage is the ability to detect minute defects, measure volumes, and inspect complex geometries that standard 2D cameras or 3D LiDARs might miss.
